Shipment and delivery fees

The furniture items sold on our online store Up-Home, unless otherwise indicated, are manufactured as row, that is to say without polishing. Upon receipt of the order and payment, the company Arteferretto S.r.l. undertakes to prepare, varnish, dry, check the furniture as well as to install hardware and wheels, pack and ship the goods within the time indicated (15 working days for the preparing and 6 days for the delivery), except for bespoke manufacturing of products and causes due to force majeure.

Our delivery service to your home

Up-Home commits to provide a delivery service which is quick, efficient and of maximum reliability. This means that all the following options are included in the shipment:
Packaging
All our furniture is carefully packed in extremely strong containers to ensure it remains undamaged.
Insurance
The insurance fully covers the furniture for any damage during transport.
Traceability
As soon as you place your order you will receive a confirmation email outlining the details of the order and explaining the delivery process.

Delivery time

Time of delivery will take 15-20 working days from the payment confirmation. The price of the item includes the shipment, the protective packaging (the wooden packing crate) and the insurance. Once the order has been dispatched you will receive a call from the carrier to arrange the delivery.

Delivery service

Standard shipping
Delivery Service is carried out at the closest point next to your home, provided that there is easy access to it. Standard delivery is intended on the ground floor by one delivery man.
Delivery on floors different from the ground floor is an extra-service that may be requested, even though it is not guaranteed.
Shipping costs are based on the weight of the packaging and the delivery zone (please have a look at the tables hereunder).

At the time of the order, it is necessary to provide a phone number at which the addressee can be easily contacted: the number you give us will be transmitted to the courier company that will use it to call you to organize the date for the delivery.

Important customer information

When the courier unloads the purchased items you must immediately check that the furniture is undamaged. If any damage or breakage should be noticed please write detailed reserve on the bill of parcel. This will enable you to be refunded. It is important to unpack the items carefully and retain the original packaging until you check there are no issues with your furniture.

If you have large orders (more than 1 m3) do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service for a special offer.

Should anything be amiss with your order, please contact our customer service.

The goods sold by Arteferretto S.r.l. may cause damage to people if it is moved incorrectly. The delivery of goods is made by a transport company independent from us. No liability is attributable to the company Arteferretto S.r.l. for damage to property and persons caused during delivery to the customer' s home. Each claim in case of damage to things and people should be addressed to the courier company.

For shipment of articles of small volume, Up-Home reserves the right to use the postal courier service. However, the shipment modality will be signaled to the customer before the shipment. The customer can oppose to this delivery modality and choose a different courier service for which he will be willing to pay possible extra fees. The company Arteferretto S.r.l. takes no liability for delays caused by the postal service. No cancellation of the order will be accepted starting from the moment of shipment.
